Wendy Lynch
President
Wendy Lynch, ATR-BC, LCPC, LCAC (she/they) is an art therapist, addiction counselor, college instructor, animal and plant lover, cozy video game player, avid recipe video watcher, and *big fan* of paper crafts. She is the sole proprietor of Making Meaning Art Therapy, a private practice in Lawrence, KS, associated with the Lawrence Creative Therapy Center. Wendy is an alumni of the Emporia State University (ESU) dual curriculum Art Therapy and Clinical Counseling program where they graduated in 2020 and was named the Art Therapy student of the year. They have periodically served as an adjunct instructor at ESU in the counselor education and art departments, and regularly teaches undergraduate introductory art therapy courses at Washburn University (WU). In their private practice, Wendy specializes in working alongside the LGBTQIA2S+ community, schizophrenia and related thought disorders, addictions, and PTSD. She has been serving on the KATA board in previous positions (such as treasurer and vice president) since 2021.

Teresa Zaiger
Co-Nominating Chair
Teresa obtained a Social Work bachelors degree from Southwest Missouri State University, MO and an Art in Art Therapy master’s degree from the University of Louisville, KY. She is a registered and board certified art therapist. She has over 25 years of experience as an art therapist, serving the inpatient behavioral health population. Teresa promotes the use of art for self-expression, self-awareness, regulation of emotions, and healing. Teresa has provided supervision to numerous art therapy students. She served for 10 years on the Art Therapy Credentials Board, Inc. (ATCB), certification exam committee. She previously served on the KATA board as treasurer, conference chair, symposium speaker, and currently holds the co-nominating chair. She enjoys taking photographs in nature.

Amy Nadler
Co-Nominating Chair
Amy Nadler MA, ATR-BC is one of the current Co-Nominating Chairs of KATA and has previously held the position of Treasurer. Her creative outlets include baking, home improvement projects, and landscaping. Historical fiction and podcasts are usually what is playing on her airpods.

Keslie Redel
Conference Chair
Keslie Redel is an art therapist, play therapist, and EMDR therapist in the Kansas City area, working as the Clinical Director for a non-profit human service agency. She is a 2016 Alum of ESU’s art therapy and mental health counseling dual degree program, and has been practicing in Kansas ever since. In addition to her non-profit work, Keslie is an instructor for the Heartland Play Therapy Institute.
